Nothing in was is ever as big as the might battleships from the Dreadnoughts up to WWII – these monsters roamed the seas and dominated the seaways. They made a difference. Some never really got to show what they could do – they were lost in major engagements or were kept ‘safe’ from the Royal Navy and air forces.
