Keith Wilson, a noted photographer and author,  documented the work for the RAF’s Battle of Britain Memorial Flight. The BBMF can be seen at events to pay tribute to WWII.

BBMF is located at RAF Coningsby in Lincolnshire and it is made up of a small group of aircrafts that include Spitfires, Hurricanes and one of the only two surviving Avro Lancasters.

While Wilson was with the BBMF, he was able to see the restoration of the PZ865, it was the last one built. The restoration took three years to complete.

In the video provided by BBC News Lincolnshire,   Wilson and Stu Reid, retired Squadron Leader discuss the challenges of maintaining the PZ865. He also talks how exciting it is to fly the infamous Lancaster bomber.
