Last year Activision took a huge risk when they took Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare beyond the future technology seen on Advanced Warfare, and moved it out to deep space. At a recent investor meeting, Activision executives admitted that the new game did not appeal to many of their fans, but it did have the effect of keeping the franchise fresh and new. They also dropped hints that the new game in the series that is in development will return to more traditional forms of combat, but whether or not that means the game will return to its traditional roots in WWII is anyone’s guess.
The big news for this weekend is that in their blog, Activision have announced that the multiplayer version of “Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare”, will be available free to all Stream players until the 26th February 2017 at 1 pm PST (9 pm GMT). There are no level caps in force, and you will get to experience all the combat rigs, game modes and all weaponry. All these modes have been tuned to a high level by Infinity ward since the game was first released.
An added bonus is that the progress you make during this free play time, on Steam, will carry into your game when you purchase it. The game is offered, by Steam, during this free time at a 50% discount on the Standard Edition. Other deep cuts being offered at this time is a 33% discount on the Digital Legacy Edition including Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered, and 25% discount on the Digital Deluxe Edition which includes Modern Warfare Remastered, as well as a Call of Duty Infinite Warfare Season Pass, with extra Digital Content, iSports Times reported.
This is a great opportunity to download the free version of Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare multiplayer, load up your Combat Rig, find your team and go where no man has gone before and have fun. Opportunities such as these are few and far between so enjoy!
