Event is Saturday, May 27th at 1PM at The Veterans Memorial Auditorium in Providence, RI and is Open to the Public
Rob Ninkovich, veteran New England Patriots Linebacker and two-time Super Bowl champion will be the official host of the world premiere of D-Day: Over Normandy, a film narrated by his head coach Bill Belichick on May 27th at The Veterans Memorial Auditorium.
Ninkovich was signed by the New England Patriots as a free agent in 2009 and has played a key role in helping the Patriots defense to wins in Super Bow XLIX (49) and LI (51). Ninkovich will speak prior to the film’s showing and then take part in a Q & A session with an Omaha Beach D-Day veteran and Tim Gray, Producer and Director of D-Day: Over Normandy, following the film.
Tickets for D-Day: Over Normandy narrated by Bill Belichick are still available here or 401-421-ARTS (2787). Tickets are free for all veterans with proper ID and $15 for the general public. It will be the first time Bill Belichick has ever narrated a documentary. Coach Belichick’s father Steve served in the United States Navy in World War II, in both Europe and the Pacific.
“It’s great that Rob will be able to attend and represent the Patriots organization,” said Tim Gray, Chairman of the non-profit World War II Foundation. “Rob is one of the more popular players on the Patriots and one of the hardest working. Anytime you get to have a two-time Super Bowl champion at one of your events, it’s great. Rob also realizes he has the opportunity to play this great game because of all our veterans have done and continue to do to preserve our way of life,” Gray said.
