Thanks to footage from a drone, we have an amazing bird’s eye look at one of the aviation museums in Russia.
Earlier in February the drone captured remarkable images of the Central Air Force Museum, which is located just 40 kilometers east of Moscow at Monino Field.
One of the largest aviation museums in the world, it is the largest museum holding Russian aircraft with 173 aircraft and 127 aircraft engines featured on display.
Other exhibits include uniforms, instruments, weapons collections, Cold War-era spy equipment, air-related items, and artwork.
There is a library that contains books, photos, and films that are accessible to those who visit. Ex-pilots lead the tours at the museum, which opened in 1958.
The museum was not open to the public until 1999 because it displayed classified prototypes from the reign of the former Soviet Union.
