Set in Casablanca, Morocco during World War II, “Allied” stars Marion Cotillard and Brad Pitt and as two spy assassins who fall in love during a mission to kill a German official. They get married and then discover that one of them is a double agent that the other must eliminate.
Scriptwriter Steven Knight stated that the film would be based on a true story personally told to him at the age of 21. The movie is directed by Robert Zemeckis, who directed “Forrest Gump,” “Cast Away,” “Back to the Future,” and many others.
Principal photography on the film began in February 2016 in London and the scenes set in Casablanca were shot in Gran Canaria, Canary Islands. Watch the teaser below, the movie opens in theaters November 23.
